It looks like it’s Game Over for Deus Ex: Human Revolution (DEHR) and me. I’ve reached a Boss Fight I simply can’t seem to get through.
I’ve reached the fight with Namir. I didn’t listen to my instincts and got the Bio-Chip replacement, and am disoriented. I have few weapons, or ammo, that are useful here. I also seem to lack the necessary Real Life (RL) skills. Or to put it another way, I’m screwed.
I’ve read a lot of guides, tried a lot of ideas, but they’ve all resulted in me dying, and frankly I’m wondering if it’s worth it. I’d love to finish the story, but right now I’m tempted to either put DEHR aside for “something else”, or perhaps start again from the beginning with more idea of what I might need.
What partially stops me is that I have Adam pretty much where I need him for my way of playing 95% of this game. It’s only these Boss Fights that mean I’m at a disadvantage.
Really, not happy.
