Dishonored – Continuing Impressions
One of the characters just used a direct quote from Thief. That’s just put me into fangirl “squee!” territory! I’ve been enjoying Dishonored a lot. The sneaking, learning patrols, using the layout of the environments to your advantage – this … Continue reading
Sleeping Dogs
Sleeping Dogs caught my interest when a friend described it as a “Grand Theft Auto” clone. Replace the Mafia with the Triads, US cities with Hong Kong, and beef up the melee fighting, and he was pretty much right.

Dishonored – First Impressions
“THIEF!” That was my first thought when a friend told me that Dishonoured was due out the next day. That was also my second thought when I read a bit about it on the web. So I went out the … Continue reading
Portal 2
I couldn’t get hold of Portal 2 when it first came out as all the places I tried were sold out. Eventually it dropped to the bottom of my “to buy” list and I nearly forgot about it. Finding it … Continue reading
Skyrim: Hearthfire
If you want to regularly update your blog, there are two bits of advice I have for you: Don’t let your diabetes get completely out of control. Avoid having any close relatives die. Especially those who leave you responsible for … Continue reading

Mass Effect 3 – Haven’t We Been Here Before?
Having played through Mass Effect (ME) and then Mass Effect 2 (ME2), I thought I might have yet another play-through of Mass Effect 3 (ME3). I’ve had two play throughs of ME3, but I did it with whatever random history the … Continue reading

Mass Effect 2 – So, I’ve Been Playing It For A While
I’ve played probably half way through Mass Effect 2 (ME2), but I’ve been distracted by Saints Row the Third (SR3). Since this means I may never finish ME2, I thought I’d throw down all those things that have been circling … Continue reading
Mass Effect
Apparently I like being sick. At least, that’s the best explanation I can come up with for having been sick for too long. Though I have it better than many, I know. Still, I needed something to keep my mind … Continue reading
Trials: Evolution
I’ve always enjoyed the ‘trials’ type of games. They’re easy to understand: you can accelerate, brake, lean back, or lean forwards. They’re a challenge to balance those factors to get through the various levels and this (if they’re tuned properly) … Continue reading
